Brownalta Farms is run by Leroy & Dana Brownlee near Hairy Hill, AB. The appealing qualities of Angus cattle were first recognized by Brownalta Farms in 1986. Since then, we have continued to improve our purebred herd.

Brownalta Farms uses both Natural and A.I. genetics for breeding to achieve and maintain calving ease, strong maternal traits coupled with optimal growth.

Temperament is highly valued in our cattle by both us and our customers.

We have found programs and associations to be valuable learning tools, as a result we are participants of Canadian Angus Association, Alberta Angus Association, Canadian Angus Performance Program and Canadian Red Angus Promotion Society.

These assets, along with hard work, help to produce consistent balanced cattle for both the commerical and purebred cattlemen.
